You have been using WhatsApp for almost a year and now your account is about to expire, how to extend it? If you want to keep using using WhatsApp, then you need to purchase an extension.WhatsApp accept payments from Google Wallet and PayPal. You can make the purchase directly from your mobile device via WhatsApp or from a computer. If you don't have a PayPal or Google Wallet account, you can always have one of your friends pay for you.

Get your new subscription

Open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Account:

Tap on Payment info:

Choose a subscription (1 year, 3 years or 5 years) and select the payment method you want to use. Google Wallet gives you the ability to make payments directly from your mobile, using one of the below methods:

- credit, debit or gift cards.

- Carrier billing.

- PayPal.

If you want to use your PC instead, then tap on Send payment link. You will receive an email containing a link allowing you to make the purchase through PayPal. The payment process can take 3 to 5 days:

Pay for a friend

You can also pay for a friend who doesn't have a PayPal or Google Wallet account. Open WhatsApp and go to Settings > Contacts > Pay for a friend:

Tap on Choose a contact and make your selection:

Select a subscription and a payment method.
