To change the default search engine of Internet explorer, follow the below procedure: Open IE, click on Options > Manage Add-ons > Search Providers, then click on the "Find more search providers" link. The "Internet Explorer Gallery" shall open:

Select the desired search engine and click on "Add to Internet Explorer":

The search engine will be installed. Click on the arrow in the searchbar at the top right and make your selection:
