Microsoft Edge - How to Turn Off Adobe Flash
Adobe Flash Player allows websites to display interactive elements such as videos, games, or forms, but nowadays with the advent of HTML 5, this technology is rapidly becoming obsolete. Popular streaming platforms such as YouTube and Twitch have already ditched Flash Player in favor of the more secured HTML 5 player. This is also the case for mobile OS (such as iOS and Android) that don't provide any support for the use Flash. The main reason for this change is that during the recent years, Flash Player has been the source of several security flaws.
This tutorial explains how to disable Adobe Flash in Microsoft Edge, the default web browser of Windows 10.
Launch Microsoft Edge, click on the More Actions menu > Settings. Scroll to Advanced Settings and click on View advanced settings. Toggle Use Adobe Flash Player Off (enabled by default):
That's it; Flash Player has been disabled on your browser.
