The Bose QuietComfort II wireless headphones are the cheapest they’ve ever been
Right now, you can grab the Bose QuietComfort 35 II wireless headphones on Amazon for £249 – the cheapest they’ve ever been.
The over-ear noise-cancelling headphones started life at a cool £329, and have since been steadily dropping in price. They’ve been hovering at around the £259 mark since June, but have now officially dipped to new lows.
The reason for this is simple: the QuietComfort 35 II are a couple of years old now, and have been replaced by the likes of the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 .
If you’re still reading, it means you don’t mind buying a marginally out-of-date product, which is a commendable thing. And good news: the Bose QuietComfort 35 II are still one of our favourite pairs of noise-cancelling headphones. We gave them five stars and a sought-after Best Buy award , and our reviewer even went as far as to call them “the best ANC cans around.”
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology helps the QuietComforts silence the outside world remarkably well, we found; the comfortable fit and intelligent construction are also worth mentioning, as they might not be readily apparent at first glance. We know they’re not the most stylish headphones in the world, but we decided that the utilitarian design was ultimately a good thing.
Oh, and of course, they sound pretty good. “Sound quality, too,” our reviewer wrote, “is superb. Yes they're not the last word in sparkling excitement and, yes, the bass is a touch overblown at times but, by and large, there's plenty enough dynamism and detail for most people.” Difficult man to please, our reviewer.
This deal represents an £80 over the RRP, and a £10 saving over more recent prices. If it floats your boat, you’ll have to act with a bit of haste; these early Black Friday offers won’t last forever.
