Windows 10 introduces a new feature called Defer Updates allowing you to delay the download and installation of new features (through Windows Update) for several months.

This feature is primarily intended to business and professional users want to wait a bit longer before testing the new features, as there's always the risk of installing incompatible or beta updates (system fails to start or is unstable after update).

To enable this feature:

Click on Start > Settings > Update & Security :

Go to Windows Update > Advanced Options .

Tick the Defer Updates checkbox:

This will not prevent Windows 10 from installing the latest security updates.
